Carly from Minneapolis contacted Victor Barke's Complete Basement Systems because she wanted to have two small basement windows replaced with egress windows. She had received a quote from 3 other companies, but she felt our design specialist Chris really listened to what they wanted. He worked with them on that other than trying to upsell or ignore what they wanted. Carly was impressed with both the look and quality of the RockWell egress windows Victor Barke's Complete Basement Systems installs. She feels confident of the quality product we installed compared to the metal windows the other companies were trying to push.
This homeowner had been dealing with water intrusion through multiple sources, the basement windows, walls, and even the floor. Each rainfall brought new signs of moisture, leaving damp spots, musty odors, and growing concern about potential long-term damage. After several attempts to manage the issue on his own, he decided it was time to find a permanent, professional solution that would truly keep his basement dry.
Our team installed a full-perimeter WaterGuard interior drainage system to capture water at the base of the walls and direct it safely to a new SuperSump pump system. To address moisture coming through the walls, we lined them with CleanSpace vapor barrier, creating a clean, bright surface that seals out humidity and directs any seepage down into the drainage system. We also replaced the old, leaky window with a durable EverLast basement window, designed to resist rot, rust, and water intrusion.
Now, the basement is completely dry, protected, and ready to use — with a system built to perform year-round and backed by a transferable warranty for lasting peace of mind.
Mary of Rosemount was getting water seepage in her basement along some of her walls. She wanted a permanent solution to the problem for good.
Our Installation team installed a WaterGuard drainage system to collect all ground water that would seep up through the floor and wall joint. As well we installed a wall barrier using CleanSpace Wall System to protect the walls from moisture, mold, etc. We installed a new SuperSump Pump System to collect the water and will discharge outside away from her home.
Here's a recent basement we just fixed in Inver Grove Heights, MN. The Fitzgerald family had damp block walls that needed waterproofing. Among the WaterGuard and SuperSump, we also installed the CleanSpace Crawlspace wall lining to help waterproof their basement. That is what you see here. CleanSpace can also be used for regular basement walls to help insulate and keep water out as well as using it in a crawlspace under a house. We also added an egress window with RockWell surround.
A St. Paul, MN homeowner reached out to us after years of dealing with constant water intrusion in their basement. Built in 1917, the home’s aging foundation allowed water to seep in regularly, creating a damp, musty environment that limited how the space could be used. Left unresolved, this ongoing intrusion risked further structural issues and continued damage to the home.
Our System Design Specialist evaluated the property and recommended a complete waterproofing system tailored to protect this historic home. The installation included a WaterGuard interior drainage system to efficiently collect and direct water, CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal walls and prevent moisture penetration, and a SuperSump sump pump with an UltraSump 4 battery backup to ensure reliable pumping even during power outages. To control humidity and air quality, we also installed a Sedona SaniDry dehumidifier. With these proven solutions in place, the basement is now dry, stable, and protected, ensuring this historic home remains safe and usable for the next 100 years.
