Lexy from Janesville was referred to us for help fixing some leaks that she was having in multiple spots in her basement. Our design specialist Ronald met with her to find a solution to her problems. Lexy liked that our rates were lower and she received more work completed compared to other companies for the price. Our friendly crew provided her with fast and efficient service so she can have the peace of mind of having a dry basement!
This Albany, MN basement had visible signs of moisture along the foundation walls, including dark staining, discoloration, and evidence of water intrusion near the floor. This intrusion is caused by groundwater pressure, or hydrostatic pressure, against the foundation walls. Over time, that pressure can force moisture through the concrete block and along the wall-to-floor joint. Visible staining, discoloration, and damp areas along the lower portion of the walls showed that water was making its way into the basement.
We transformed the space with a professional basement waterproofing system designed to keep water out and help protect the basement from future moisture issues. The foundation walls were covered with our CleanSpace Wall System, creating a bright, clean-looking finish while helping direct moisture toward the WaterGuard drainage system. The floor-to-wall transition was sealed to help prevent water from entering where the foundation wall meets the floor. Our SuperSump sump pump was installed to pump the water out and away from the home.
The result is a cleaner, brighter basement with a more comfortable environment, and, most importantly, a system designed to keep the entire basement dry.
Before:
This home in New Richland, MN was experiencing serious water intrusion that left the basement damp, musty, and largely unusable. Water was seeping in where the wall met the floor, and pooling during heavy rains. The constant moisture threatened the integrity of the foundation and created the ideal environment for mold and mildew. The homeowner needed a long-term solution that would keep the space dry and help preserve the value of their home.
After:
In just two days, our team installed a full waterproofing system to permanently address the issue. We began by placing WaterGuard, a specialized interior drainage system, along the perimeter of the basement floor. Unlike traditional French drains, WaterGuard is engineered to sit on top of the footing, preventing clogs from soil and debris.
We then lined the walls with CleanSpace, a heavy-duty vapor barrier that prevents moisture and vapor from passing through the foundation walls. This not only keeps the basement dry but also helps improve overall air quality in the home.
To complete the system, we installed a SuperSump, a high-performance sump pump system with a cast-iron Zoeller pump, airtight lid, and WaterWatch alarm to provide reliable water removal and peace of mind.
With this system in place, the homeowner now has a dry, healthy basement and gained valuable usable square footage. This not only improves daily living but also adds long-term resale value to the home.
A Norwood Young America resident reached out to us regarding water seepage in her basement. Additionally, she mentioned her dissatisfaction with her peeling and unsightly walls. Our Design Specialist Ronald was sent out to assess the situation and offer suitable solutions.
After discussing the options, they agreed to proceed with a complete waterproofing system to prevent any further water issues in the basement. They also decided to install a CleanSpace Wall System to maintain the walls.
Our installation team started with installing the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard is a non-clogging piping system that drains into the SuperSump Sump Pump to remove the water and keep your basement dry. The SuperSump system is the most reliable available. It includes a high-end Zoeller cast iron pump, a WaterWatch Alarm that will alert you if water rises above the point the pump should turn on, a SuperLiner with 96 holes that allow water to flow in directly from below the floor, and the airtight lid that keeps moisture from evaporating into your basement, as well as keeps out bugs, odors, and radon gas.
The CleanSpace Wall System they put up is a strong, bright liner that stops water vapor from permeating the walls, and drain wall leaks into the WaterGuard. It is installed with permanent drilled-in fasteners. It conforms to bumpy walls and is easily washable to create a nice, clean surface.
This system will give the homeowner peace of mind that her basement will remain dry and safe for many years to come.
This homeowner in Waterville, MN had been dealing with ongoing water intrusion in their basement for many years. Moisture would seep in along the perimeter, creating a damp, uncomfortable space and raising concerns about long-term damage and usability. Like many older homes in the area, the lack of an effective drainage system meant that water had nowhere to go once it reached the foundation.
Our team installed a full-perimeter WaterGuard drainage system to capture water at its entry point and direct it away from the home. To ensure reliable removal, we also added a SuperSump Plus system to efficiently pump water out and keep the basement dry year-round. The entire project was completed in just two days, giving the homeowner fast relief and long-term peace of mind. Now, their basement is protected, dry, and ready to be used without worry.
