Cracked Foundation Wall For Woodstock, MN Homeowner

This Woodstock, MN homeowner had a large horizontal crack on the foundation wall which was causing movement of the entire wall of the home.  The homeowners contacted Complete Basement Systems to solve the problem.

Our System Design Specialist quickly came to evaluate the situation.  He quickly concluded that the foundation wall was unlevel and had shifted due to hydrostatic pressure from the outside causing a lot of pressure on the block foundation wall and needed to be stabilized to prevent the worse from happening, a collapsed wall.

PowerBrace beams were installed to support the foundation wall from further movement.  Why does this happen?  As forces of nature, such as moisture and frost, interact with the soil around your home, that soil expands.  That expansion results in constant inward force on your foundation wall until it can no longer support the pressure, causing the cracking, bowing and tipping to occur.

If you have a foundation wall crack and notice even the slightest of movement, don't wait!  Contact Complete Basement Systems today and schedule your free estimate.

Old Windows Replaced For Homeowner In Canby, MN

Randy F. of Canby, MN was in the middle of a home remodel project and the timing was perfect to attend an area Home Show in Marshall, MN.  Speaking with Nate Barke at the Home Show about services we provide to get the basement ready for finishing.

Randy really liked the EverLast Basement Windows, his current windows were drafty, old and not so nice looking.  Our EverLast Basement Windows are smooth operating, sliding windows with a screen. The windows are crystal-clear, double thermal-pane glass, so they are energy efficient. When unlocked, both panes come right out of the frame very easily so you can clean them, or pass objects through like ladders and long boards.

By the end of the project, Randy was impressed with the installation crew and loved that we are a company that stands behind our work after delivering a quality product.

Sump Pump Discharge Line Worthington, MN

David C. of Worthington had a complete basement system installed in his home.  Part of the project involved burying his sump pump discharge line.  The benefits of the buried discharge line are not having to move around it to mow your lawn or having it be a trip hazard.

The underground discharge line does freeze during the winter months, but it is still able to discharge water through the IceGuard attachment installed just outside the home.
