Mapleton, MN Waterproofing

This Mapleton, MN homeowner was sick of the never-ending water problem in their basement. After heavy rains or melting snow, water would seep through the basement walls and floors. Like many Minnesota homes, hydrostatic pressure from saturated soil around the foundation was forcing water through cracks and gaps. The result? A damp, musty basement that couldn’t be used for storage or living space.

To solve the issue for good, our team installed the WaterGuard Drainage System, which is a proven, below-floor solution that sits on the foundation footing to collect groundwater and direct it to a sump pump. We also lined the walls with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, which prevents moisture and water vapor from entering the space. This combination keeps the basement dry, clean, and usable in all seasons.

Now, this Mapleton basement is protected from future water intrusion, no matter how wet Minnesota weather gets.
