A St. Paul, MN homeowner reached out to us after years of dealing with constant water intrusion in their basement. Built in 1917, the home’s aging foundation allowed water to seep in regularly, creating a damp, musty environment that limited how the space could be used. Left unresolved, this ongoing intrusion risked further structural issues and continued damage to the home.
Our System Design Specialist evaluated the property and recommended a complete waterproofing system tailored to protect this historic home. The installation included a WaterGuard interior drainage system to efficiently collect and direct water, CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal walls and prevent moisture penetration, and a SuperSump sump pump with an UltraSump 4 battery backup to ensure reliable pumping even during power outages. To control humidity and air quality, we also installed a Sedona SaniDry dehumidifier. With these proven solutions in place, the basement is now dry, stable, and protected, ensuring this historic home remains safe and usable for the next 100 years.
