This Mapleton, MN homeowner was sick of the never-ending water problem in their basement. After heavy rains or melting snow, water would seep through the basement walls and floors. Like many Minnesota homes, hydrostatic pressure from saturated soil around the foundation was forcing water through cracks and gaps. The result? This couple reached out to us after recently purchasing their home. While the basement was mostly finished, they noticed signs of water intrusion. Our System Design Specialist quickly inspected the area and discovered that the previous waterproofing system wasn’t doing its job.
