These homeowners called to discuss their basement issues and wanted to get someone out as soon as possible to take a look. They had a bowing wall that was their main concern. Our Design Specialist Ryan met with this homeowner to take a look at a leaky, bowing wall he had in his basement. In this picture, you can see the horizontal cracking along the bricks which is an indicator that the wall is moving. Ryan told him this wall would be a great candidate for our PowerBrace Wall Support System. This is a steel beam system that stops any further bowing of the wall, and with some simple tightening with a torque wrench, can actually push the wall back to its original position over time.
This homeowner was happy to have this system installed and relieved there wouldn't be any further damage to his wall.
