The crawlspace was damp, musty, and unprotected from moisture, leading to potential mold and poor air quality. The old, tattered insulation was inefficient and left the floors above cold. Exposed dirt and unsealed vents allowed humidity and pests to enter freely, creating an unhealthy environment beneath the home.
With full encapsulation using our CleanSpace System, the crawlspace is now clean, dry, and well-protected. Our heavy-duty vapor barrier seals the ground and walls, preventing moisture intrusion. The transformation improves indoor air quality, enhances energy efficiency, and safeguards the home's foundation for years to come.

Our customer in Excelsior, MN hired Complete Basement Systems to install a waterproofing system in 2008. Our customer Max contacted us here in 2017 to look at a foundation wall that has had a crack along the wall for quite some time.
Our system design specialist, Ryan Brenner, met with the homeowners to address their main concern with the foundation wall that was cracked.
Ryan designed a foundation system that included the PoweBrace Wall System, using zinc coated steel I-beams. The PowerBrace's unique, patented design allows the system to be tightened over time, potentially reversing wall failure without any invasive drilling or digging on the property.

He showed her exactly what causes water to enter the basement and the different types of waterproofing systems available. To ensure her basement will stay dry all the time, a WaterGuard drainage system with a life-time warranty was the best solution.

Our Design Specialist Ryan met with this homeowner to take a look at a leaky, bowing wall he had in his basement. In this picture, you can see the horizontal cracking along the bricks which is an indicator that the wall is moving. Ryan told him this wall would be a great candidate for our PowerBrace Wall Support System. This is a steel beam system that stops any further bowing of the wall, and with some simple tightening with a torque wrench, can actually push the wall back to its original position over time.
This homeowner was happy to have this system installed and relieved there wouldn't be any further damage to his wall.
When this Hopkins, MN business owner started noticing signs of moisture in their basement, like damp walls, musty odors, and minor water seepage at the floor edges, they knew it was time for a permanent solution. Our team was brought in to assess the situation and find a system that would take care of this water problem for good.
To keep the basement dry, we installed a three-part waterproofing system. First, the WaterGuard interior drainage system was placed along the perimeter of the floor to collect water seeping in through walls or the floor joint. Next, we lined the walls with CleanSpace, a durable vapor barrier that directs wall moisture into the WaterGuard system. Finally, we installed the SuperSump pump system to efficiently remove the collected water from the basement, ensuring long-term protection even during heavy rains or power outages.
Back in 2013, a homeowner in Long Lake, MN, began to notice inward bowing and cracking on one of their basement walls. These are classic signs of foundation movement due to hydrostatic pressure and soil expansion pushing on the outside of the basement walls. Concerned about the long-term integrity of their home, they reached out to us for a professional assessment and basement wall repair.
After a detailed inspection, we recommended and installed the PowerBrace System, a proven solution for stabilizing and straightening bowing basement walls. The PowerBrace system uses heavy-duty, zinc-coated steel I-beams that are fit to the height of the basement. These beams are anchored tightly against the wall at the top using adjustable brackets that attach to the floor joists, and they rest on the basement floor with a stable footing.
The real advantage of PowerBraces is that they not only prevent further inward movement but also allow for gradual wall straightening over time, a process we call torque tightening. This makes it a long-term, non-invasive solution that doesn't require excavation and avoids further damage to the home's structure or landscaping, ensuring complete foundation repair.
Fast forward several years: the homeowner began noticing similar symptoms on the remaining basement walls. Remembering how happy they were with the original installation and their positive experience with our team, they called us back without hesitation. We returned to install PowerBraces on the rest of the basement walls, bringing the entire foundation up to the same level of protection and stability.
This wasn't just about finishing a job; it was about doing it right. The homeowner knew they could count on us to get the job done correctly and professionally. Now, with PowerBraces installed on all walls, their basement is fully reinforced and protected against future movement, which will give them lasting peace of mind. A homeowner in Bloomington, MN had been living in her home for sixty-plus years when a few years ago she started noticing a persistent musty smell, occasional signs of mice, and chilly floors during the winter months. She suspected the issues were coming from the crawlspace beneath her home, which had never been properly sealed or insulated. On top of that, she wanted to use the space for storage, but didn’t feel comfortable doing so in its current condition.
Although she had already received an estimate from another company, she reached out to us for a second opinion. After meeting with our team, she appreciated our thorough inspection, clear communication, and detailed explanation of our encapsulation system. Most importantly, she felt confident in our experience and trusted us to get the work done quickly and effectively. She was eager to move forward so she could safely use her crawlspace for storage.
Our team installed a CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System to seal off the crawlspace from outside moisture and pests. The vapor barrier prevents ground moisture from entering the space, while also improving the overall air quality in the home. We also sealed all gaps and entry points to keep rodents out and to help with the cold floor issue in the winter.
The homeowner now has a clean, dry, and usable crawlspace, perfect for storage. The musty odors are gone, the floors feel warmer in the winter, and she no longer has to worry about rodents getting in. She’s thrilled with the transformation and relieved to have peace of mind that her home is safe and secure.
When these homeowners first reached out, they were tired of dealing with a wet basement every time it rained. Water seepage along the perimeter walls had led to musty odors, damaged belongings, and a space they simply couldn’t use. What should have been a functional lower level was instead a source of frustration and worry.
After inspecting the home, we recommended our proven, warrantied waterproofing system. A solution designed to stop water at its entry point and keep the basement dry for good. Our team installed a perimeter drainage system to capture incoming water, paired with a powerful sump pump to move it safely away from the home. We also sealed problem areas to ensure no moisture could sneak back in.
The results were immediate. The basement is now clean, dry, and ready for storage, recreation, or even finishing into a living space. Best of all, the homeowners have peace of mind knowing our work is backed by a transferable warranty, protecting not just their home’s structure, but its value for years to come.
This Shorewood, MN homeowner was referred to us by a previous customer after struggling with issues in her large crawlspace. She was experiencing water intrusion and high humidity levels, which caused her insulation to deteriorate over time. Not only did this create a problematic space, but it also made her home far less energy efficient, leading to higher utility costs and damage to her belongings that she stored here.
After contacting our team, we performed a thorough inspection and designed a customized waterproofing solution. With our FoamMax system and WaterGuard drainage system, we were able to completely transform the area. The crawlspace is now clean, dry, and protected from future water damage.
With the new system in place, this homeowner no longer has to worry about water intrusion or wasted energy. Her home is now healthier, more efficient, and better protected for the long term, not to mention backed by our transferable warranty.
A homeowner in New Hope, MN reached out to us after years of battling water intrusion in their basement. The constant leaks had not only damaged personal belongings but had also started to affect the air quality throughout the home. To make matters worse, the pressure from water and soil outside the foundation was causing the basement walls to bow and shift. The homeowner knew that if something wasn’t done soon, the problems could become much more severe and costly.
Our team met with them to design a permanent solution that would put their worries to rest. We installed a SuperSump sump pump system to reliably move water out of the basement, paired with our WaterGuard interior drainage system to capture water at the source and keep the space dry. To further protect the home, we added a CleanSpace vapor barrier to prevent moisture and musty odors from entering the basement air. Finally, to address the structural concerns, we installed PowerBrace beams, which stabilize the bowing walls and can be tightened over time to help restore them to their original position.
With these systems in place, the homeowner now has peace of mind knowing their basement is protected from water damage and their foundation is secure. What was once a damp, unhealthy, and unstable space is now safe and dry, for good.
This Edina homeowner wanted to make their basement brighter, safer, and more functional. However, their old, small window wasn’t cutting it. Not only did it let in very little natural light, but it also didn’t meet current egress safety requirements. That’s when they reached out to our team for help.
Our crew installed a RockWell egress window well, designed to look great while offering reliable safety and durability. The RockWell’s stone-look design blends seamlessly with the home’s exterior, and its sturdy construction ensures long-lasting protection from the elements. With the clear SunHouse cover, debris and rain are kept out, while sunlight can still pour in.
Now, this Edina basement feels more open and inviting, a space that’s both code-compliant and comfortable. The homeowners love how much brighter the area feels and appreciate the peace of mind knowing there’s a safe, easy exit in case of emergency.
Another beautiful and practical transformation, done right by our team!
For this project, the homeowner was dealing with water damage caused by hydrostatic pressure forcing moisture through the basement walls. Over time, this led to damp spots, discoloration, and a musty environment, which are common issues in Minnesota basements.
Our team installed the CleanSpace Wall System, a durable vapor barrier designed to seal the walls and direct any water seepage into the drainage system. We also added WaterGuard, a proven interior drainage solution that collects water at the base of the wall and channels it safely away from the basement.
The result is a clean, dry, and bright basement that’s protected from future water intrusion. With the combination of CleanSpace and WaterGuard, the homeowner can now enjoy a more comfortable and worry-free space, no more damp walls or musty odors, just lasting peace of mind.
