It was determined that a complete waterproofing system was needed to prevent further water problems. We began with the WaterGuard drainage system, designed to effectively solve basement water issues without clogging. WaterGuard collects water at the basement perimeter and safely drains it away. Next, we installed the CleanSpace wall system to prevent water vapor from entering walls and direct wall leaks into the WaterGuard. Following that, we installed the SuperSump and UltraSump Sump System to ensure the basement stays dry even in heavy rains. To complete the project, we added a buried discharge line and IceGuard. Ryan K. a new homeowner was concerned about mold problems in the crawl space underneath his home.  Seeking out for companies online, he found Complete Basement Systems specialized in basements and crawl spaces in the area. 

While we were initially called to address the crawl space, we always look for other areas of concern and ways we can better our customers homes and noticed his crawl space window was drafty and old looking. 

Showing our customer what we have to improve that window, he liked the all vinyl, maintenance free window by EverLast.  Our installation team also spray foamed along the window eliminating any potential drafts.

The scope of work involved installing a vapor barrier called CleanSpace which is a crawl space encapsulation system that is used to isolate the home from the earth completely and permanently.  It is blue on on one side and white on the other.  

As far as our customers concern with mold, the CleanSpace liner is manufactured with an antimicrobial additive called UltraFresh that is molded right into the material.

With a full waterproofing system installed, this basement has been completely transformed. CleanSpace wall liner now provides a clean, bright, moisture-resistant barrier that directs any wall seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system below the floor. A newly installed sump pump system sits neatly in the corner, ready to quietly and efficiently move water out of the home. The concrete has been restored, and the entire area looks clean, dry, and protected, giving the homeowner confidence and peace of mind for years to come.

CleanSpace Drainage Matting was installed on the dirt floor and CleanSpace Liner was installed on top of the matting.  This is now a clean brighter crawl space for this Minneapolis homeowner and can comfortably crawl around and make use of this space storing personal items along with adding value to the home.
