Here's a great photo of a home in Lakeville, MN that had both a crawlspace AND a finished basement. We encapsulated the crawlspace as well as the bottom half of the basement with CleanSpace. We also installed a WaterGuard system in the basement half to ensure protection against flooding.

For years, this Lakeville homeowner had been battling water in her basement. No matter how many DIY fixes she tried, the dampness and leaks always found their way back. After one too many rainy days and cleaning puddles off the floor, she finally threw in the towel and decided it was time to call in the professionals.

When our System Design Specialist arrived, it was clear she had already started the process of reclaiming her basement. She had parts of it partially demoed in preparation for something better. What she needed now was a permanent waterproofing solution to give her peace of mind and a clean, dry space she could confidently refinish for her family.

Our team installed a full perimeter WaterGuard drainage system to capture and direct water away from the walls and floor. A SuperSump pump system was added to efficiently remove the collected water, while the IceGuard and LawnScape discharge system ensured the water exits the home safely in every season. Finally, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was applied to the walls to brighten up the space and keep moisture and musty odors at bay.

The solution designed was to completely encapsulate the crawl space with our CleanSpace Liner to separate the dirt floor earth underneath from the rest of her home.  The CleanSpace System is a 20 mil poly that is kind of like a pool liner and is warrantied for up to 25 years to be free from rips and tears.  

Carol now has the ability to use her crawl space for storage and also looks a lot more attractive and bright versus nasty and dark.
