Twyla and John of Chaska, Minnesota made the choice to protect their basement walls with CleanSpace, one of our patented products that solves the problem of water-damaged walls that aren't just an eye sore, but also a health concern for you and your home!
Chaska, MN homeowner contacted Complete Basement Systems upon noticing water leaking from a crack on the poured foundation wall. Wall cracks are very common on poured foundation walls, which are most type of split level homes.
Repairing a foundation wall crack with our FlexiSpan crack repair system seals the crack and provides a built-in secondary repair strategy in case the seal fails.
First a small drywell is developed into the floor under the crack, then we seal the crack with a urethane-based sealant. Lastly a special polyurethane foam strip is applied over the first seal. The foam strip is set up so water from within and behind it can drain into the drywell installed.
Now your wall crack is sealed, and if any water ever gets past the seal, it drains down into the drywell.
Owatonna homeowners discovered a moisture and foundation problem when doing some remodeling in their basement. Block foundations are especially susceptible to bowing walls and moisture problems over time. If left untreated, this can cause structural damage to the home, as well as mold, mildew, and potential flooding. Luckily, the homeowners worked with System Design Specialist Rob Larson to design a system that solved all their problems, and helped them to be fully prepared to finish their basement with confidence!
Products used: PowerBrace foundation repair beams, CleanSpace wall vapor barrier, and WaterGuard waterproofing system
Dennis & Margaret M. of Owatonna researched the BBB for a reputable company to help with a water issue that was happening in their basement when heavy rains would occur. After a free consultation to inspect the home and troubleshoot a permanent solution to their problem, they could see how our lifetime system of WaterGuard and a SuperSump Pump system would eliminate the problem they've dealt with over the years living in their home.
This homeowner called with a very common issue. They had an old wooden window well that needed to be replaced. The wood was rotting and starting to push in. We knew right away they would be great candidates for our RockWell Window Well.
When our Design Specialist Ryan met with the homeowners, he explained to them the benefits of the Rockwell. The Rockwell is a solid, one-piece design that effectively seals out moisture and soil made of reinforced plastic that won't corrode or deteriorate even in extreme weather. It is an attractive, maintenance-free product that looks like real stone. A huge improvement over rotting wood.
The homeowner agreed that this was the best option and our production team was sent out to install. The installation took only one day, and the homeowner had a beautiful, functional, and safe new window well to be proud of.
