We walked the homeowner through his options and designed a plan to fully encapsulate the crawl space with our CleanSpace Encapsulation System. This included sealing the ground and walls with a heavy-duty vapor barrier to lock out moisture, insulating the space to improve comfort and efficiency, and closing off all outside air leaks.
Once the project was complete, the results were immediate. The musty odors disappeared, the floors above felt noticeably warmer, and the home became far more energy efficient.
