We started by excavating a trench along the interior perimeter of the basement floor, just above the footing. The WaterGuard system was then laid in place. This patented drain system collects water from the wall-floor joint and channels it to a sump pump system for safe discharge away from the home.
To address moisture and vapor intrusion through the walls, we installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier. This durable, 20-mil thick liner is anchored securely to the basement walls and runs down to overlap with the WaterGuard. This ensures any wall moisture is directed straight into the drainage system, keeping the basement dry and clean.
