When it would rain hard or we had a very wet spring from the snow, she would experience water seepage in the basement. Once we got a good look of what was happening and seeing the water damage that left evidence of mold and water stains on the walls, clearly had been a problem that has been going on for a while.
We designed a system for Mabel that would protect the perimeter of her foundation and walls from ground water and wall seepage from getting into her basement. The waterproofing system works with a sump pump system equipped with a battery back-up.
We also corrected her basement walls that had slight movement. Walls tend to shift and bow from the hydrostatic pressure from the soil out side the house and can push against the foundation finally causing it to buckle. We stabilized her foundation walls with a beam support system that will prevent any further wall movement.
