Solution

After reaching out to our team at Complete Basement Systems, we scheduled a free on-site inspection. Our expert thoroughly assessed the basement, identifying the main sources of water intrusion and the reasons for poor moisture control.

Following the inspection, we presented a detailed, customized estimate that outlined the scope of work and the products we would use to protect the home. The homeowner was impressed with our clear communication, long-term warranties, and our proven waterproofing system.

To address the basement issues and ensure long-lasting protection, we installed the following:

WaterGuard Interior Drainage System: Installed along the interior perimeter, this drainage system captures incoming water at the wall-floor joint and redirects it away from the home.
CleanSpace Wall System: A heavy-duty vapor barrier that covers basement walls, helping to seal out moisture and direct any wall seepage into the WaterGuard system.
SuperSump Pump System: A powerful, reliable sump pump with a built-in liner, airtight lid, and floor drain that efficiently removes water from the basement.
LawnScape Outlet: Installed outside the home, this discreet discharge line outlet allows water from the sump pump to safely exit away from the foundation, preventing it from recycling back into the basement.

The CleanSpace liner is securely fastened to the basement walls, creating a vapor barrier that helps seal out moisture and direct wall seepage into the drainage system below. At the base of the wall, you can see the WaterGuard system in place along the foundation footing, ready to capture and channel groundwater to the sump pump. Drainage matting has also been laid out to improve water flow beneath the slab. This step is critical in transforming the once-wet, musty space into a dry and healthy environment.

This finished photo shows the fully installed basement waterproofing system, with fresh concrete poured over the WaterGuard drainage channel to restore a clean, seamless floor. The CleanSpace vapor barrier remains securely attached to the wall, working with the hidden drainage system below to keep moisture out of the living space. The installation is now complete and functioning, redirecting water to the SuperSump pump and safely discharging it outside through the LawnScape outlet. The homeowner can now enjoy a dry, clean, and healthier basement, protected from future water intrusion.
